Goemon5: The Music

Album: Way to Go

#KLMsucks

KLM certainly provides cheap means of getting around Europe, but there is another price to it. There service can be aweful, as happened to me when I travelled to York, UK. DUe to delays on the rails I arrived only ten minutes to boarding (which is ample time to walk over from the check-in to the airport terminal), and the KLM check-in mug told me I was already ten minutes too late to check in. I mean, really, she was sitting there anyway, but due to some stupendous internal proceedings she would not let me onto the plane, even though it was not due for take-off for at least another half-hour ...

Manchester airport - and nowhere to go
twelve hours to kill - and I don't even know
did dad get my message that I will be late?
I hope he's not waiting for me at that gate.

Thank you British Railways - for one our delay
at your station in Huddersfield - I had a lovely stay
I wrote part of this song on that cold metal chair
and in the future I know better than to rely on your fare.

Thanks KLM for that service of yours
fifteen minutes before boarding you closed your doors
fourty minutes to take-off you turned me away
now I'm stranded in Manchester with no place to stay

[I paid 120 pounds for a flight in twelve hours tomorrow
I don't have bollux to do, so I'm writing this song of sorrow
my free WiFi pass just expired, and on cookies I'm running low
still twelve hours to fill, and nowhere to go.]

So here's to British Railways - those unpunctual pricks
here's to the scumbags of KLM - those merciless dicks
here's to Manchester Airport - a place where I don't want to be
and to my ukulele - for keeping me company.
